False Ceiling

A false ceiling, also referred to as a dropped ceiling, suspended ceiling, or secondary ceiling, is an additional ceiling installed below the main structural ceiling of a room or building. It is typically suspended using a framework made of metal or wood, and filled with panels made from various materials. False ceilings are widely appreciated for their functional and aesthetic advantages.

As an additional design element, false ceilings not only add an exquisite look to the room but also make the overall space more energy-efficient. With growing demand, different types of false ceiling materials are available for property owners with restricted budgets and limited requirements. While plaster of Paris (POP) and gypsum false ceilings require proper handling, they are popular choices due to their versatility and aesthetic appeal.
